Frédéric-Edouard KoehnChairman of the Board After having graduated from Lausanne HEC Business School, Frederic started his career as a General Management consultant. Creating his first company, he quickly specialized in managing “turn around” of small businesses. He then was called by a group of private investors to managed a start-up company in the medical device industry. It was the beginning of an eleven years journey. As the CEO of Compex SA, Frédéric managed this start-up from the very first sales to becoming the prominent worldwide leader of Neurostimulation Device for Rehabilitation as well as for Sport training. Frédéric has experience in all facets of managing a high growth company in the medical area. He also has strong skills in marketing new product categories in the consumer market.
After having successfully sold Compex, Frédéric took a sabbatical. He discovered the San Francisco Bay Area when attending the Executive Program for Growing Company at Stanford Graduate Business School.
Always focused on entrepreneurship, Frédéric worked as a Business Angel and Venture Partner in the French part of Switzerland. This is how he was contacted by Lausanne University to take care of the Neocutis Project.
Frédéric serves also as Chairman of Myotest SA: as start-up company in the sporting good industry.
